Who We Are

The IEEE Victorian Section Blockchain Group was officially approved on May 13, 2024, following a petition by Prof. Daswin De Silva and Lakshitha Gunasekara. Our group forms a global network of professionals passionate about blockchain technology.

What We Do

Our mission is to support and lead initiatives related to the IEEE Blockchain Initiative, including pre-standards, education, conferences and events, community development and outreach, publications, and special projects. We organize events that cover state-of-the-art blockchain technology and applications, providing a platform for innovation and collaboration.
